LubeVan Mobile Tire Rotations
(For customers who's tires are mounted to rims)
When is the last time you rotated your tires?
A tire rotation is the process of unbolting and removing the wheels and tires from your vehicle and reinstalling them in a way that maximizes your tread-wear and traction. For vehicles without directional or staggered tires, this usually means installing the front tires to the rear of the vehicle on the opposite corner of which they were previously installed.
LubeVan Technicians rotate for optimal tread-wear and traction during a seasonal wheel swap or rotation.
Extend the life of your tires, and maximize your vehicle's traction.
Did you know not all tires are created equally? Some tires are designed to last three and four times as long as other tires. If you are tire shopping, you should always look at a tire's UTQG "Treadwear" rating. The higher this number, the longer this tire should last.
Most auto manufacturers recommend that tires be rotated every 12,000 km under normal driving conditions. Rotating tires at regular intervals promotes even tire wear and safety through regular tread inspection and pressure adjustment. Regular tire rotations and even tread-wear can even improve fuel economy and traction.
